CoderSpace 2019 Summer Apprenticeship

CoderSpace creates engaging learning experiences to inspire a new generation of leaders and innovators. CoderSpace youth learn computer science and develop leadership skills for a changing world.

In our intensive 8-week summer apprenticeship, students learn computer languages that power the web. Through hands-on training, CoderSpace youth work in teams to build real-world projects while gaining experience in programming, web development, teamwork, and leadership.

Throughout the summer, CoderSpace youth participate in regular business trips to explore a range of tech-related career opportunities. The program culminates in a Demo Day where student teams show off their summer projects to family, friends, and supporters.

More than a summer program

We are interested in working with youth who are committed to launching a CoderSpace at their school. Participants will take the skills they learn during the summer and share them with their peers. For youth interested in this unique leadership opportunity, CoderSpace provides resources, support, and ongoing training at weekly Saturday sessions during the academic year.
